Xander made his appearance as Captain Gilad Pellaeon in the third season of Star Wars: The Mandalorian. He also lends his voice acting to the same character in the animated series Star Wars: Tales of the Empire. Appearing as if the character walked off the pages of the graphic novel, Xander, once again, transformed into the character leaving no doubt in his portrayal.

A modernized version of George Bernard Shaw’s 1905 Tony Award-winning comedy.

Directed by Jay Craven, "Now set in 21st Century America, things have changed – but much remains the same. Our story centers on bright-eyed, compassionate and hard-nosed Barbara Undershaft, who feeds the poor and saves souls at her Salvation Army shelter. Barbara frets over lost funding and tends a sly and unruly mob that includes Snobby Price, a fast-talking con artist; Rummy Mitchens, Snobby’s checkered accomplice; and Pete Shirley, an over-the-hill retail day laborer. Then bully Bill Walker waltzes in, looking for his runaway former girlfriend.

"Barbara and her siblings have been long estranged from their father, Andrew Undershaft, a sly shape shifter and wealthy arms manufacturer who sees himself as a paragon of reason. Barbara collides with Undershaft over their contrasting views. He asks to visit her poverty encampment – and to have Barbara visit his arms factory. Only then, he argues, can they conclude their debate over who’s right and what’s wrong."

Xander portrays Andrew Undershaft, the arms manufacturer and patriarch of the titular character.

the ghost trap

Based on the novel by K. Stephens, in The Ghost Trap, a young lobsterman is forced to choose between right and wrong when his fiancée suffers a traumatic head injury and a rival lobstering family sabotages his gear. Written with sensitivity and rich description, this is a piercingly accurate depiction of a small Maine lobstering community.

This independent film brings Xander and Steven Ogg working together again. They first worked together on The Walking Dead where they became close friends. In The Ghost Trap Xander portrays Steven’s father. As seen in the images above.

Reagan follows the path of a young boy from the dusty roads of Dixon, Illinois, to Hollywood, the Presidency of the United States and the world stage.

Ronald Reagan's story is told through the voice of Viktor Petrovich, a KGB agent (a composite character based on real individuals) who closely followed Reagan since his days in Hollywood. The film begins with an aging Petrovich, now 90 years old, being visited by an up and coming Russian leader who wants to know how the Soviet Union was lost. Petrovich, the spy who knows everything there is to know about Reagan, begins recounting the tale of his great adversary: the man he nicknamed “The Crusader,” beginning in 1922 when 11-year old Ronald Reagan goes through his first life crisis.

Xander Berkeley stars as former Secretary of State George Shultz.

Butcher’s crossing

Xander Berkeley (The Walking Dead, Air Force One) joins Nicolas Cage and Fred Hechinger in Butcher’s Crossing, the Western directed by Gabe Polsky, which has just wrapped production.

The film scripted by Polsky and Liam Satre-Meloy adapts John Williams’ 1960 novel of the same name. It centers on Will Andrews (Hechingeer), a naive Harvard student who heads west in 1874 to fulfill his dream of seeing the country and living off the land. Will agrees to fund a dangerous but potentially lucrative expedition to Colorado, led by Miller (Cage), an experienced hunter obsessed with a near-mythological buffalo herd he once glimpsed in the Rockies. But as the weeks and then months pass, Miller’s single-minded resolve to slaughter every buffalo in the enormous herd puts Will and the rest of the hunting party at risk of losing their sanity and their lives.
